3. Volunteer with your children in a support organization like ours not just for the holidays but beyond...pick what works for you.
4. Give a handmade coupon of free babysitting to a couple recently reunited after their deployment ended.
5. Write a handmade note of thanks with some holiday flowers to a neighbor who has loved one serving...let them know their sacrifices are not forgotten.
6. Shake hands with anyone in uniform and any veteran in front of your children and say thanks.
7. Spend a moment writing a Christmas message to a soldier deployed with your child.
8. Make sure your church or synagogue includes our veterans and servicemen and women in their prayers each week.
9. Fly your flags with pride.
